A large automotive company
-Power products localization engineering support including: material transfer analysis, technical exchange with suppliers and global engineering team, engineering validation tests for sample parts; -Communicate with China market, sale, and customers to gather special technical requirements for power products in Shanghai; -Make engineering analysis for modifications of current power products in Shanghai; -Modify drawings and issues for sample machining and lead engineering tests for modified parts in Shanghai and analyze test results within team; -Participate in global NPD project to gather VOC of China customers; -Lead in performing design and process failure modes and effects analysis on new and existing products in Shanghai; -Provide technical support to all internal and external customers involving all aspects of product design, integrity, cost and performance; -Determine disposition of purchased and manufactured parts that are rejected by Quality Assurance; -Originate and implement designs for product improvement or cost reduction. Perform and document design calculations, generate CAD layouts and verify all necessary tolerance stack ups for new design revisions. Conduct product design reviews and follow through on recommended changes. Initiate the generation of new ideas and document them appropriately for possible patent protection or to reserve as trade secrets; -Perform engineering analysis of warranty returns and recommend corrective actions; -Deploy Pro-lunch/DFSS in Shanghai plant and provide support for all Power products produced in Shanghai plant.
-Bachelor’s degree or above in Hydraulic engineering, Mechanical Engineering; -5-10 years of experiences in hydraulic design (piston products preferred); -Good communication Skill both in Oral and written English; -Medium level of project management capability; -Be familiar with normal new product development procedure.
