You will directly report to the APAC Regional Director, and lead and grow a team here in Mainland China. This is a nice and efficient team here in Shanghai China. And you can expect to have exposure in APAC region.
about the job.
Organize a team of 2/3 industrial sales managers all over China and coordinate them, having a target of:
- Successfully create business from new and existing industrial customer accounts
- Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with industrial customers
- Prepare sales presentations, sales proposals and promptly answer to industrial customers’ requests for quotations
- Understand the market trends, industrial customers' needs, and competition
- Offer technical support and expertise to industrial customers
- Achieve company sales target
- Monitor and follow up on industrial customer payments, ensure healthy payment records
- Contacting potential industrial clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
- Increasing the value of current industrial customers while attracting new ones
- Do research and stay current with market trends, industrial client insights, and competition movements
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
skills and experience required.
- Previous sales experience in the bakery/pastry ingredients industry
- Ability to work in a team, organization skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Language required: Intermediate level of English
- Willing to travel Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
- A motivated self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision and possess the ability to assemble and manage teams
- Presentation, analytical, and planning skills are also essential
