about the job.
- Understand the market, identify business opportunities, and develop a strategy and implementation plan to conquer the market.
- Define a sales strategy, determine where the company wants to go in the future in terms of sales, and how to get there.
- Manage sales activities in the APAC region to achieve corporate objectives and set targets in terms of sales, gross margin, team objectives, and other key performance indicators.
- Lead the sales team and create a team environment with clear objectives and expectations.
- Monitor and support the development of team members through training and coaching.
- Perform such other duties as may reasonably be assigned by the General Manager.
skills and experience required.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (foreign nationals as a must).
- People management and leadership experience, experience in a B2B wholesale environment, and experience in the luxury furniture or home appliance industry are a must.
- Customer relationship management skills and experience
- Understanding of market and customer affairs, experience in sales management, marketing, and channel management Understanding of business processes and associated profit and cost drivers.
