The sourcing engineer need to lead all kinds of sourcing activities for assigned NPD projects to ensure the appropriate sourcing strategy implementation, sourcing process compliance and sourcing deliverables on time.

1. Establish the sourcing strategy of assigned project through close alignment with global category sourcing team ;
2. Lead sourcing related activities by working closely with cross-function team, including initial supplier scouting, evaluation, selection and qualification;
3. Lead supplier Early Involvement events to obtain ideas from suppliers on design, quality and cost optimization;
4. RFQ and Negotiate the price for R&D prototype purchase and volume production demand to achieve the best cost solution;
5. Manage material ramp up for new product launch by working closely with plant purchasing team;
6. Negotiate contracts with supplier to minimum business risk and maximum Medtronic’s interests;
7. Manage all the sourcing activities in compliance with Medtronic policy and QMS requirement;
8. Other tasks assigned by manager.

Job Requirements：
>5 years experience in procurement related function, at least >3 years at Sourcing position, Medical device industry background is preferred;
Good understanding of sourcing and supply chain management;
Good project management and communication skills.
Bachelor degree or above with major in engineering;
Good master of English in both oral and written.
5年以上采购相关职能经验，至少3年以上Sourcing岗位经验，医疗器械行业背景优先；
对采购和供应链管理有良好的了解；
良好的项目管理和沟通能力。
工程类专业本科及以上学历；
