职责描述:
• Generally assigned to develop & improve existing and new automotive electro-mechanical systems (e.g. may be responsible for changes based on new requirements, or may contribute to the application of new technology/ innovations).
• Captures customer requirements, regulations and product specifications into the design of the assigned products/systems,
• Define and execute the Statement of Work / Statement of Requirement for the system.
•Define, cascade and oversee execution of Statement of Work/ Statement of Requirements for sub-systems and system components.
• Generate functional strategies for vehicle level mechatronic systems including definition of I/O’s and interactions with complete documentation.
• Ensures customer requirements, regulations and product specifications are executed in the system design of the assigned products. Works with interdisciplinary engineering teams to ensure compliance with Mechatronics System Development Process plus operational, cost, timing, safety, reliability, quality, and manufacturing feasibility parameters.
• Consults and collaborates with personnel in various engineering and design activities relative to product development requirements in order to create/support robust electro-mechanical systems control methods to eliminate campaign failure modes.
• Writes/compiles engineering content for the following deliverables: product specifications (STS, SSTS), component specifications (CTS), RASIC matrix, mechanization drawings and ICD, System Bill of Materials, System DFMEA, compliance matrix, system DVP&R’s, 8D’s, prototype control plans, key product characteristics, engineering changes and work orders.

• Must have demonstrated ability to apply system methodologies to design and be able to develop cascading requirement scenarios.
• Must have demonstrated excellence in communication / presenting / influencing / salespersonship skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics /Electrical/ Engineering Physics / Computer Engineering/Control Systems from an accredited University
• 5-10 years of engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with more than 5 years’ experience with systems or embedded SW product applications.
• Completion of SCFI Mechatronics 1 and Mechatronics 2 courses is a benefit.
• Completion of ISO 26262 and ASPICE courses is a benefit.
• Possess detailed documentation practices.
• Vehicle level bus communication protocol development experience (i.e. CAN, LIN)
• System/Subsystem architecture development experience for safety critical components
• Working knowledge of electrical hardware (including wire harness), software and electrical circuit theory as it relates to embedded controls for electro-mechanical systems.
