Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Supporting Function Leader with a strong background in SAP and the Retail industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge of SAP and other corp. application areas (HR, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) and leverage this expertise to support our team, enhance operations, and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Management:
- Taking the leadership to manage the application and integration of SAP solutions across the organization, ensuring optimal usage and alignment with business goals.
- Leading and collaborate to resolve any technical issues, optimize system functionality, and implement upgrades or new modules as required.
- Coach team members on effective use of SAP applications, fostering a deeper understanding of the system's potential to improve business operations.
- Conduct regular audits of SAP systems to ensure data accuracy and adherence to internal guidelines and regulatory compliance.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic SAP projects and initiatives.
Corporate Function Application Management:
- Direct corporate functions including HR, finance, legal, and supply chain, aligning them with the company's strategic objectives.
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and communication to ensure smooth operation of all business units.
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics for each function, taking corrective actions as necessary to improve performance.
Leadership & Team Support:
- Lead the supporting function team towards achieving strategic goals and objectives.
- Foster a supportive, collaborative, and innovative environment for team members.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, encouraging professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a SAP and retail-focused environment.
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing teams, with a track record of mentoring, developing, and guiding a high-performing team.
- Strong knowledge of SAP software and its application in the retail industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies that align with industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Preferred:
- Certifications related to SAP.
