- Understand China’s business strategy and key focus, support Head of Tech on formulating Tech strategy for Application.
- Work out action plan following tech strategy for Application Team, providing business units with close and proactive support on transformation, digitization, customer experience improvement and process optimization etc.
- Lead China Application Team to deliver projects of good business value, and ensure good system availability and efficiency.
- Drive the transformation and IT enabling initiatives like re-platform, SRE and application modernization.
- Co-ordinate and maintain productive working relationships with service providers.
- Lead and develop the team, identify and retain talents, ensure annual goal of MyVoice score could be met.
- Comply with bank polices, processes, procedures, and methodologies particularly in software development, project management and infrastructure deployment.
skills and experience required.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree on Computer Science or relevant majors
- 15+years working experience with at least 10+ years of application development and production support experience, 5+ years of team management experience in a complex organization
- In-depth knowledge and experience in particular banking products and platforms with hands-on experience, preferably personal services related
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, strong ability to communicate with non-technical teams and multiple nations.
- Be able to cope and bring structure to ambiguous situations and problems, and to adopt an agile and flexible approach to work.
- Be proactive, positive, and be able to work under pressure.
