about the job.

• Research Leadership: Lead and manage research projects, ensure the timely and high quality delivery of milestones.
• Scientific Strategy: Develop and implement research strategies from target validation to drug candidates.
• Team Management: Mentor and supervise a team of internal scientists and CROs, fostering a collaborative and productive research environment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including scientific advisors, academic and clinical KOLs, to drive research initiatives and therapeutic development.

skills and experience required.

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field with a focus on metabolic diseases or cardiovascular diseases (CVD)
• Track record of advancing multiple metabolism disease or CVD projects to preclinical or clinical milestones, with at least 1 case to IND stage.
• A minimum of 10 years of academic and industrial experiences in metabolic diseases and CVD, with at least 3 years in the industry or relevant environment, supported by publication record in high-impact journals.
• Deep understanding of metabolic diseases and drug R&D processes.
