1.Experience in working in large scale Linux/Windows based environment
2.Solid understanding and experience of working on 'cloud' infrastructure, architecture and technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP), Preferably AWS.
3.Experience in developing backend application using Spring MVC and/or Spring boot framework, JDBC, mysql/postgresql etc
4.Experience using containerization and software defined infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes etc.
5.Good understanding of Microservices and service mesh concepts like Istio, Nginx etc.
6.Strong experience in infrastructure deployment automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible.
7.Strong Knowledge/Experience in DevOps toolsets - Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Spinnaker, Maven etc.
8.Experience with scripting in Bash or Powershell or Python.
9.Solid understanding of Databases such as SQL, MySQL, Redis etc.
10.Strong understanding of Queuing and messaging services like Kafka, Event hub and servicebus ..etc
11.Experience with server hardening and other security best practices (SSL/TLS, SSH, HTTPS, IPTables, Patching).
12.A solid understanding of networking (e. g. TCP/IP, DNS, Azure express route, VGW, Routing).
13.Good understanding on application and infrastructure monitoring tools like Prometheus, AppDynamics, Azure AppInsights etc.
14.Exposure to the software development lifecycle and agile software practices, from specification > development > QA > release.
15.Strong work ethic & team player.
