- Utilize data analysis tools and software for data processing, analysis, and visualization on financial data.
- Collect, integrate, and analyze various financial data from different financial systems including ERP(SAP), TPM, etc.
- Assist in the development of financial data management processes and policies to improve accuracy and efficiency of financial data input and mapping to different views to support financial decisions.
- Participate in business meetings and discussions with finance business teams, providing data support and interpretations to enhance their understanding of financial data processed or aggregated from different systems.
- Work closely with finance business teams to understand their needs and objectives, providing tailored solutions and recommendations based on financial data to meet business requirements.
- Actively communicate with finance business teams to gather feedback and understand their evolving needs, continuously optimizing data analysis methods and processes for improved relevance and effectiveness.
- Maintain effective communication with technical support teams for application systems to resolve technical challenges encountered during data analysis.
- Continuously learn and explore new data techniques based on evolving business needs and technological advancements to enhance professional capabilities.
skills and experience required.
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or related fields is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience with financial application and data or related fields.
- Familiar with financial activities such as monthly cutoff, budget planning, etc.
- Knowledge in financial statement analysis, budgeting, cost analysis, and other financial domains is a plus.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and software such as Excel, Python, PowerBI and more. Working experience with Azure Data technology (ADFS, DataBricks, AML) is a plus.
- Good logical thinking and problem-solving skills, able to extract valuable information from large amounts of data.
- Excellent communication skill, able to clearly convey data analysis results and recommendations to the team and management.
- Good demand analysis skills, able to understand the actual needs of the sales business department and translate them into feasible data analysis plans.
- Familiar with finance processes, able to analyze and interpret them in combination with actual business situations.
- Team collaboration spirit and service awareness, able to actively cooperate with the sales business department to provide efficient support and solutions.
