Merchandise Financial Planning
- Partner with Senior Manager to create merchandise planning according to the 3-year Long Range Plan
- Create and monitor category sales and inventory plan for Greater China Omni Channels with topline, discount, ASP, WOC, sell-in plan and related Sales KPIs / inventory KPIS
- Align promotion plan and pricing with channels especially in all KCPs and seasonal sales events according to the latest forecast commitment
- Create a newness injection open to buy plan and partner with the Assortment Planning team on the range of offering
- Align with the Assortment Planning team regarding the understanding of the assortment strength/weakness and brand strategic direction to identify the structural business growth area
Business Management
- Propose trade action according to the WTD, MTD, QTD, YTD performance
- Provide business insight to drive proactive trade actions through Data Analysis and reporting management including overall merchandise performance reports, promotion performance on category and special reports required
- Provide business insight and visibility with the Global Merchandising team through daily operations and regular meetings inclusive GBR and OTB meeting
- Co-own with the Assortment Planning team on competitive analysis, trend forecast and price structure
- Check in with the inventory planning team on stock availability and create an alert system to maximize the business opportunities
- Co-own with the Assortment Planning team on product life-cycle management focus on discontinued and slow-moving inventory clean-up
- Align the omni channel price and promotion strategy with the brand directly and create one consumer uniform experience across the Greater China POS
Requirements:
- 5+ years of merchandising planning with retail / e-commerce experience
- Budgeting, Open to Buy management experience
- Multi-channel planning experience is a plus
- Greater China Business experience is a plus
