- Spearhead the establishment and growth of the brand in China.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate the Chinese pet market, identifying key opportunities and establishing a strong market position.
- Build and manage a high-performing team, providing leadership, direction, and support to achieve business objectives.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, and industry influencers, to ensure effective market penetration and brand visibility.
- Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences, utilizing insights to inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to drive seamless execution of business plans.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing initiatives tailored to the Chinese market, ensuring brand consistency and resonance.
- Monitor financial performance, budget adherence, and overall profitability, implementing corrective actions as needed.
skills and experience required.
- Bachelor degrees or above.
- Proven experience in a sales role within the pet or FMCG industry, ideally with a focus on offline retailers, i.e. NKA, LKA, CVS, distribution management in China.
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with a track record of successfully establishing and growing business operations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research and data-driven decision-making.
- English and Chinese can be used as working languages
