Job Responsibilities:

1. This position provides environmental, health, safety, energy management and 
2. security leadership to Changzhou plant operations.  Success is defined through 
3. the attainment and continual improvement of metrics that are defined by the 
4. plant.    
5. Facilitates process and provides technical and administrative leadership to 
6. ensure compliance with EHS regulations and MESH requirements.
7. Chooses fiscally and socially responsible methods and processes of managing 
8. natural resources and waste.   
9. Continuously identifies, assesses, and reduces/eliminates EHS risk 
10. (including security).
11. Continuously deploys methods of reducing the environmental footprint.  
12. Establishes and maintains relationships with governmental authorities on 
13. matters of mutual concern including voluntary certification, maintenance of 
14. environmental permits, submission of required reports, and maintenance of data. 
15. Complies with Eaton’s ethics policy and keeps management informed of issues 
16. associated with regulatory compliance.
17. Provides for timely EHS training of employees.  Encourages employee 
18. involvement in EHS activities.
19. Investigates incidents (including near misses, releases, and losses) and 
20. accidents to determine root causes and prepares/directs corrective action plans.
21. Plans to deal with emergency situations that could adversely impact the 
22. environment, employees, or the community.
23. Directs development, maintenance, and achievement of strategic initiatives 
24. designed to produce verifiable world-class performance.
25. Primary communicator of EHS messages to employees and management.
