[Introduction]
As the Data Privacy Head, you will lead the global privacy strategy, manage regulatory risks, and partner with hardware and product teams to ensure compliant data utilization and fair competition worldwide.
[Responsibilities]
-Global Strategy & Compliance: Define and oversee the global privacy program to ensure compliance with worldwide regulations (GDPR, CCPA, PIPL, etc.).

-Product & Hardware Support: Embed Privacy by Design and DPIAs into global software, hardware, and IoT ecosystems.
-Competition Law: Provide strategic counsel on competition law related to data, including data scraping, commercial trade secrets, and algorithmic fairness.
-Incident Response: Lead responses to global data incidents, managing cross-border investigations and regulatory notifications.
-Data Contracts: Negotiate global data agreements, including DPAs, SCCs, and cross-border transfer mechanisms.
-Privacy Culture: Deliver tailored training to engineering, hardware, and business teams globally.
[Qualifications]
-Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Law. Privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM) are highly preferred.
-Experience: 8+ years of total experience, with 6+ years dedicated to data privacy. Experience in top law firms or hardware/IoT data environments is a strong plus.
-Global Exposure & Language: Deep familiarity with major data protection frameworks (including GDPR, PIPL) and cross-border transfer rules; fluent in English.
-Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of data-related competition law; excellent ability to translate global regulations into practical tech and business solutions.
