Key Responsibilities
This role is responsible for executing the regional government affairs strategy and requires a proactive approach to stakeholder management:
Stakeholder Network Development: Establish and cultivate a robust and constructive relationship network with relevant government bodies and public officials to support long-term business objectives.
Policy and Regulatory Management: Actively monitor, analyze, and interpret new regulatory policies, industry intelligence, and potential risks, providing timely and effective policy counsel to internal stakeholders.
Project and Funding Initiatives: Independently manage the preparation, submission, and follow-up for governmental funding, incentive programs, and honorary recognition projects (e.g., industry support funds, high-quality development grants).
Business Enablement: Strategically support the expansion of company operations and the successful execution of brand marketing and commercial activities in new and existing local markets.
Corporate Representation and Outreach: Coordinate and facilitate high-level meetings with governmental and industry organizations, ensuring professional representation that elevates the company’s profile and supports strategic partnerships.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess a proven background in government relations and strong operational capabilities:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Government Affairs or a related field, coupled with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
Demonstrated capability in drafting official documents and compelling project applications, with a preference for candidates who have experience securing national or municipal level project approval or funding.
Exceptional internal and external communication skills, with proven experience in cross-functional coordination and high-level official engagement.
Strong sense of professional accountability, superior problem-solving abilities, and practical experience in effective crisis preparedness and response.
Good command of the English language, sufficient for conducting business communication and document review.
