SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide payroll services to employees, managers, HR and Finance departments in designated AP countries in an outsourced payroll model and a shared services environment. These services include, but are not limited to, timely and accurate payroll data collection, consolidation and delivery to an external payroll vendor, performing payroll checking and global payroll controls to ensure payroll accuracy and completeness, responses to queries from employees, managers and corporate units in the field of payroll with usage of the local language of the country involved or/ and English. This position will be a primary contact at the operational level with payroll vendors and internal clients. The Payroll External Resource will take part in payroll related projects as and when required and will be responsible for completion of ad hoc tasks related to the payroll process improvement. This position requires work with various systems including SAP, outlook and other data sources.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Timely collect, maintain and consolidate payroll data, ensure it is complete
- Deliver payroll data to an external payroll vendor overseas
- Control payroll output received from an external payroll vendor overseas
- Perform global payroll controls to ensure payroll compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate, compliant payroll delivery
- Administer payroll tax filing and statutory submission
- Prepare payroll reports and respond to internal clients’ inquiries concerning payroll
- Manage payroll interface to ensure data integrity between SAP and the vender payroll systems
- Cooperate with external payroll vendor at operational level to timely and accurately deliver payroll to employees
- Effectively solve the issues related to outsourced payroll services delivered by an external payroll provider
- Monitor deadlines defined by work regulations and labor law
- Monitor timely and accurate service delivery by the payroll provider
- Build effective relationships with internal and external customers
- Take part in payroll related projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree required and previous payroll admin experience (especially overseas payroll administration) preferred
- Advanced English (B2/C1)
- Experience in shared services environment will be an asset
- Analytical skills and strong attention to details
- SAP knowledge will be an advantage
- Familiar with MS Office (especially Excel)
- Advanced knowledge of other foreign language will be a strong asset
- Ability to work under pressure of time and as a member of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to change
