- Establish and enhance long-term business relationships with customers through provision of quality customer service to maximize business growth
- Supervise the team’s merchandising activities in the entire order process to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
- Provide advice and suggestions on product design to meet customers’ buying objectives
- Supervise the team to enhance service delivery and operation efficiency
- Build and maintain a strong vendor network for product development and production
- Work/liaise independently with suppliers from overseas and PRC
- Identify potential vendors and materials for product design and development
- Research and identify suitable product and market trends
- Establish and enhance long-term business relationships with customers through provision of quality customer service to maximize business growth
- Understand the customer needs and requirements, develop an effective sourcing strategy
- Communicate and coordinate production follow up with the offshores offices
- Lead a team of merchandisers
- Manage day to day merchandising posses from sourcing, product development, order allocation/scheduling strategic, vendor management, cost and budget control and coaching the team members to ensure cross-functional relationships
- Lead price negotiation with vendors and mills, insure design requirements are met for both product and margin stand point
- Establish and enhance long-term business relationships with customers through provision of quality customer service to maximize business growth
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
skills and experience required.
- Experience in Electronic Products is a must
- Diploma or Degree in Merchandising or related discipline preferred
- Minimum 6 years' relevant experience
- Strong product and material knowledge with good development skills, and familiar with merchandising and product development process
- Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive and detail minded
