We are seeking a Product Manager to drive market research, strategy, product roadmaps, and cross-functional execution for assigned product categories. In this role, you will analyze market trends and consumer insights, translate customer needs into winning product specs, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering, design, and marketing teams to successfully launch products globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Market & Consumer Research: Conduct primary and secondary research (customer surveys, competitor tracking, trade shows, store visits) to validate product hypotheses and translate consumer insights into actionable category directions.
- Competitive Intelligence & Roadmap Strategy: Build intelligence on market trends and vendor capabilities. Create and maintain short-, mid-, and long-term (up to 3 years) category roadmaps.
- Product Strategy & Business Case: Define product value propositions, key use cases, and feature specifications. Conduct market size assessments (TAM) and financial analyses to substantiate business cases.
- New Product Introduction (NPI) Execution: Lead project kickoff meetings and partner with cross-functional teams (industrial designers, engineers, toolmakers) to ensure on-time, on-budget development and launch.
- Go-To-Market & Marketing Support: Support regional product teams with channel-specific requests. Provide marketing with clear product insights to develop packaging, user documentation, and training materials.
- Post-Launch Optimization: Conduct post-launch evaluations to measure performance against financial/sales goals and refine product strategy based on user feedback and new market competition.
- Compliance & Standard Practices: Adhere to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards, health and safety regulations, and standard workplace policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in Consumer Electronics (CE), Computer Hardware, or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).
- Language Skills: Native-level fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and verbal).
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to leverage data, metrics, and quantitative analysis to validate assumptions and back up strategic decisions.
- Strategic Execution: Track record of defining 3-year category roadmaps and translating customer needs into comprehensive product requirements.
- Leadership & Agility: Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
