Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and visionary Vice President of Quality to architect and lead our next-generation Quality Management System. This executive role is critical for embedding smart, data-driven quality principles across our entire value chain—from R&D and advanced manufacturing to field installation and digital service operations.
The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking leader with a proven track record of leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies to not only ensure compliance but to predict, prevent, and eliminate quality issues. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and zero-defect execution, positioning quality as a key competitive advantage in the age of digitalization.
Responsibilities:
· Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a global quality strategy aligned with the company's digital transformation and smart manufacturing initiatives.
· Industry 4.0 & Digital Quality Execution:
· Champion the adoption of Smart Quality tools, including AI/ML for predictive quality analytics, IoT-based real-time monitoring, and digital twins for process simulation and validation.

· Implement and manage a closed-loop, data-driven quality system that integrates MES, ERP, and PLM platforms to provide end-to-end traceability and actionable insights.
· Lead the use of advanced data analytics to move from reactive problem-solving to predictive prevention of potential failures.
· End-to-End Quality Oversight: Provide quality leadership across New Product Introduction (NPI), advanced manufacturing, supply chain, and field operations, ensuring seamless integration of quality standards.
· Cultural Transformation: Instill a company-wide culture of quality excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, TQM) with a focus on data-centric decision-making.
· Supplier Quality Development: Drive the evolution of our supplier quality management, integrating smart capabilities for supplier performance monitoring and collaborative quality improvement.
· Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all products and processes meet the highest global regulatory, safety, and reliability standards. Proactively identify and mitigate enterprise-level quality risks.
· Talent Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global quality organization equipped with the skills to thrive in a digitally advanced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Required:
· A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in Quality Management, within a complex, global manufacturing organization.
· Demonstrable, hands-on experience in designing and implementing Smart Quality / Quality 4.0 programs. This must include direct experience with:
· AI and Machine Learning for defect prediction and root cause analysis.
· IoT sensor data and real-time SPC for in-process quality control.
· Digital Twin technology for process and product quality validation.
· Integration of quality data across MES, ERP, and IoT platforms.
· Deep understanding of advanced manufacturing processes and how digitalization transforms them.
· Proven success in developing and executing a global quality strategy that delivered measurable business results (e.g., reduced Cost of Poor Quality, improved OEE, enhanced customer satisfaction).
· Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field is required.
· Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
· Certifications such as ASQ CQE, CQM, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, or equivalent are strongly desired.
