Role Overview
We are looking for a highly strategic and commercially-minded (Senior) Retail Manager to lead our retail. Unlike a traditional operational role, this position demands a candidate who views retail through the lens of business logic and scalable systems. You will be responsible for translating brand vision into sustainable commercial success, optimizing retail ecosystems, and building a high-performing management culture.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Business Logic: Analyze complex market data to identify growth drivers. You won’t just track KPIs; you will understand the why behind the numbers, optimizing conversion funnels, labor productivity, and inventory health to maximize ROI.
Systemic Operational Excellence: Develop and refine standardized retail SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure consistency across all touchpoints. You will build a "system-driven" rather than "person-dependent" retail environment.
Portfolio Management: Oversee the P&L of the retail network, managing budgets, CAPEX, and OPEX with rigorous financial discipline. Identify opportunities for store footprint optimization and strategic expansion.
Talent Architecture & Leadership: Build a robust talent pipeline. You will mentor Store Managers to think like business owners, fostering a culture of accountability, analytical thinking, and premium service standards.
Omni-channel Integration: Drive the synergy between physical retail and digital platforms, ensuring a seamless customer journey that leverages data to enhance the lifetime value (LTV) of the consumer.
Requirements
Experience: 8+ years in retail management within premium/luxury or high-growth consumer sectors, with at least 3 years in a multi-unit leadership role.
Business Acumen: Strong logical reasoning and a deep understanding of retail financial metrics. You should be able to demonstrate how you’ve previously turned data insights into profitable action.
Systematic Thinking: Proven track record of building or optimizing retail management systems and operational frameworks.
Leadership: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the maturity to manage complex stakeholder relationships and lead large, diverse teams.
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
