About the Role
The Director of Product Management is a pivotal senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the long-term product vision and strategy. This role will lead the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and planning to development, launch, and post-launch optimization, ensuring our product offerings meet market needs and drive sustainable business growth. The Director will manage a team of Product Managers and serve as the key interface between the executive leadership, engineering, and market-facing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
Define, articulate, and evangelize a clear, compelling product vision and long-term strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and market positioning.
Lead market research, competitive analysis, and customer immersion activities to identify significant market opportunities and define product-market fit.
Develop, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap, managing trade-offs between short-term wins and long-term strategic goals.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, mentor, and coach a high-performing team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of customer-centricity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Establish and optimize product management processes, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), and tools to maximize team efficiency and product quality.
Set clear KPIs and performance metrics for the product portfolio and the product team, and be accountable for achieving those targets.
Cross-Functional Execution
Serve as the primary liaison, driving alignment and collaboration across Engineering, Design/UX, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams.
Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring detailed product requirements (PRDs) and user stories are delivered to engineering with clarity and precision.
Lead the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for all major product launches, working closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure successful adoption and revenue generation.
Business & Financial Acumen
Develop and present compelling business cases, including projected ROI, cost analysis, and revenue models, to senior leadership for investment approval.
Monitor, analyze, and report on product performance, leveraging data insights to make informed decisions and pivot strategy where necessary.
Define product pricing, positioning, and packaging in collaboration with Finance and Marketing to optimize profitability and competitive advantage.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree.
10+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role managing and mentoring Product Managers.
Proven track record of defining, launching, and scaling successful products in fashion industry.
Deep expertise in modern product discovery and delivery methodologies.
Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to translate complex data into actionable product decisions.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
