Internal Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Drive the comprehensive vision and product lifecycle for all internal applications and automation, treating internal infrastructure as a strategic differentiator rather than an administrative expense.
Systems Architecture & Engineering: Blueprint and manage the complete software development lifecycle for our internal platforms, leveraging modern microservices, cloud-native design principles, and API-first integrations.
AI & Automation: Head the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced automation into our internal workflows, fundamentally reimagining how our organization shares information, solves problems, and executes work.
Developer Experience & Productivity: Streamline internal tooling to ensure frictionless employee onboarding, measuring platform success through actual adoption rates, organizational impact, and DORA metrics.

Must-Have:
12+ years of professional software engineering experience, including a minimum of 5 years directly guiding engineering teams or managing other leaders.
A strong, hands-on technical foundation with the ability to confidently evaluate complex system designs, code quality, and technical architectures.
Deep expertise with major cloud providers (such as AWS, GCP, or Azure), microservices architecture, data pipelines, and modern API ecosystems.
A proven history of shipping and scaling internal platforms or automation frameworks that empower cross-functional business units beyond just engineering.
Demonstrated experience handling build-vs-buy evaluations and managing a blended portfolio of proprietary and vendor-supplied software.
A distinct product-driven mindset focused on user outcomes, backed by elite communication skills capable of translating business problems into technical roadmaps.
Nice-to-Have:
Prior experience navigating rapid growth within a fast-paced technology startup or an AI-first company.
A background rooted in platform engineering, developer experience (DevEx), or Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).
Familiarity with connecting major enterprise business systems and suites (e.g., Workday, Salesforce, NetSuite).
A solid grasp of corporate cybersecurity standards, compliance frameworks, or systems integration following M&A activity.
