Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Portfolio Ownership
•Develop and own the 1-3 year product strategy for the assigned categories, aligning with overall business objectives and revenue targets.
•Lead the market research function, directing the team to use advanced data analysis tools to identify disruptive trends and high-potential product opportunities.
•Finalize new product roadmaps and development directions, ensuring clear ROI and market viability.
2. Leadership & Cross-Functional Management
•Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Product Development Specialists, setting performance goals, conducting regular reviews, and fostering a data-driven culture.
•Oversee and optimize the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, including major pricing decisions, product re-launches, and significant upgrades.
3. Supply Chain & Vendor Management
•Establish high-level costing and negotiation strategies to secure optimal product costs and terms, significantly enhancing product competitiveness and profitability.
•Drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency and product quality by setting KPIs for procurement and managing large-scale quality issue resolution.
4. Market Compliance & Risk Management
•Monitor and interpret major e-commerce platform policy and algorithm changes (e.g., Amazon, Shopify) to adapt the product strategy and maintain compliant operations.
•Systematically analyze product performance data (reviews, returns, operational issues) to direct strategic product improvements and minimize financial losses from quality or service failures.
Required Qualifications:
1.Experience: Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred). 5+ years of relevant cross-border e-commerce product development experience, with a minimum of 1 years in a management or team lead role. Proven track record in Home Goods or Maternity & Baby is highly advantageous.
2.Strategic Acumen: Exceptional ability to translate market insights and complex data into a clear, executable product strategy. Strong understanding of P&L management and financial forecasting.
3.Leadership & Communication: Demonstrable experience in team leadership, mentorship, and effective cross-functional collaboration. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and advanced communication skills.
4.Technical & Language: Fully proficient in advanced data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Native or near-native level English proficiency (written and verbal) is required for managing international communication and platform requirements.
5.Soft Skills: High-level strategic thinking, organizational agility, proactive problem-solving, and proven ability to thrive under pressure and manage high-stakes projects.
