Main Responsibilities
1. Regional Leadership and P&L Accountability: Serve as the Sales Director responsible for developing and executing market expansion strategies and distribution channel plans for the Germany/Italy region, aligning with the company's overarching goals. You will be fully responsible for the overall sales results and P&L of the regional market, driving sales targets, and consistently increasing our market share and influence in the local landscape.
2. Market and Channel Development: Gain deep expertise in the market situation and industry trends within the 3C electronics and charging categories in the target markets. Proactively identify market opportunities and demands to develop retail customers at various levels and establish a comprehensive, nationwide channel system, including engagement with both wholesalers and retailers.
3. Client Management and Sell-Out Strategy: Lead negotiations for offline channel bidding and secure contracts with key clients to ensure the rapid inclusion of our brand in local channels (sell-in). Regularly visit and maintain relationships with channel customers, implement channel incentives, manage in-channel retailing and brand exposure, and ensure the efficient sell-out of products. You will also promptly resolve channel issues to maintain channel stability and drive sustainable growth.
4. Brand & Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute impactful brand and marketing strategies for the target region. Enhance brand awareness and user loyalty through targeted marketing promotions and PR activities. Collaborate with headquarters and regional brand teams to maximize brand exposure, execute a strategy of differentiation through innovation, and drive high conversion rates from consumer awareness to purchase.
5. Cross-Functional Management: Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that local market products and services consistently meet customer needs. Work collaboratively with the delivery, after-sales, and operations departments for comprehensive management of the target market.
Your Profile
1. Experience and Sector Expertise: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. You must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in sales or Go-To-Market (GTM) roles within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector of 3C electronics, mobile phones, IoT, or ecosystem product fields. Deep familiarity with the target market's business environment and culture, along with mature channel and distributor resources, is essential.
2. Strategic Acumen: Possess strong market analysis and strategic planning abilities. You must be able to accurately assess market demands and trends to develop corresponding effective market, product, and brand strategies.
3. Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required, with a proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with customers from diverse backgrounds and cultures. A track record of successfully entering major offline channels is a significant advantage.
4. Language and Integration: Highly proficient in English, and fluent in the local language of the target market (German and/or Italian is highly preferred, or French, Spanish, Polish, etc.). You must demonstrate the ability to effectively integrate and coordinate across internal teams and external resources.
5. Agility and Resilience: Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities, coupled with strong resilience and the ability to drive progress rapidly under pressure. You must be able to adapt flexibly to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Experience in building a market presence from scratch is preferred.
6. Leadership: Proven experience in team leadership with a strong managerial perspective.
