The role will be the significant part of senior member of the leadership teamand will report directly to the CEO. This Postion will lead, mentor, and build a business development team as the company scales. This role requires close collaboration with the R&D, clinical, regulatory, finance, and legal teams to ensure strategic deals are integrated into development plans and executed with rigor.

1. Corporate Strategy: Develop and refine the corporate strategy, including market assessment, competitive landscape analysis in the CKM space, and commercialization pathways.
2. Business Development: Own the strategic roadmap for external growth, identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and executing value-creating collaborations (e.g., licensing in/out, co-developments, global partnerships, M&A)
3. Deal Leadership: Lead all aspects of deal execution, including scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial, and financial due diligence and deal structuring. 
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders, including pharmaceutical/biotech companies, investors, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)  in cardio/kidney/metabolic disease.

skills and experience required.

1. Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in business development, corporate strategy, licensing, or M&A in the biopharmaceutical industry
2. Demonstrated track record of executing deals** in the cardiovascular, renal, metabolic, or related therapeutic areas (CKM/CRDM).
3. Strong scientific understanding of CKM biology, pipeline development, regulatory environment, and commercial dynamics.
4. Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD) or equivalent in life sciences, or MB with significant biotech/pharma business development experience.
