Key Responsibilities
- Electrical Design & Development: Lead and execute complex PCBA and cabling design from concept to production using Altium Designer.
- Signal Integrity: Apply advanced knowledge of Analog and Digital signal processing to ensure robust system performance and signal integrity.
- Compliance & Verification: Drive medical safety and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) verification processes; proactively troubleshoot and resolve compliance issues.
- Component Engineering: Manage the component engineering process, including component selection, qualification, lifecycle management, and second-sourcing to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Software, Quality, and Manufacturing) to ensure seamless system integration and transition to mass production.
- Documentation: Generate and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, layout guidelines, test plans, and regulatory compliance reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, or a closely related technical discipline. Master’s degree (M.S.) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in hardware development, PCBA design, and electrical system integration.
- Proficient in Altium Designer (or equivalent high-end EDA tools) for schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout.
- Solid understanding of PCBA and cabling manufacturing processes, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and Design for Testing (DFT).
- Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Analog and Digital signal processing.
- Extensive experience with electrical testing equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, etc.).
