About the Job
As the Head of Marketing, you will take full strategic and commercial ownership of the brand’s end-to-end marketing ecosystem in Mainland China. Your primary mission is to translate the global brand DNA into locally resonant, highly impactful strategies that drive brand equity, consumer acquisition, and omni-channel growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Campaigns: Develop the annual marketing roadmap and 360° integrated campaign calendar to boost brand awareness and penetration. Ensure consistent brand tone and visual identity across all platforms.
Commercial P&L & Budgeting: Manage the overall marketing budget and P&L. Optimize ROI, analyze sales trends, and collaborate with Supply Chain to align marketing rhythms with inventory.
Digital & Content Ecosystem: Oversee social media strategies and drive the KOL/KOC framework, focusing on quality content seeding and strategic platform partnerships.
Trade Marketing & Retail Excellence: Partner with sales teams to design trade marketing strategies, visual merchandising guidelines, and in-store activations that drive traffic and conversion across DTC stores and retail channels.
CRM & Loyalty: Formulate the CRM and membership roadmap to maximize customer lifetime value, retention, and online-offline integration.
Portfolio Localization: Gather market insights to adapt product storytelling and messaging to local consumer preferences and regulatory compliance.
Global-Local Liaison: Act as the key partner to the overseas headquarters, safeguarding global brand integrity while proactively championing local market needs.
Skills and Experience Required
Experience: Bachelor’s degree or above, with 10+ years of marketing experience in the premium beauty or FMCG industry, including a minimum of 5+ years in a senior team leadership role.
Domain Expertise: Proven end-to-end expertise across brand strategy, digital marketing, KOL ecosystem management, trade marketing, and CRM. Deep knowledge of the China beauty landscape and omni-channel retail models.
Commercial Acumen: Strong financial mindset with a proven track record in P&L management, budget optimization, and driving marketing ROI.
Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate global-local matrix organizations; fluency in English and Mandarin is mandatory.
Mindset: Entrepreneurial, decisive, result-oriented, and highly agile; able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
