Position description
▪ The expectation is that you will work autonomously within country but aligned closely with the regional / sub-regional team to ensure that the program is delivered at industry level of professionalism and that risks associated with the country projects (in that particular market) are management accordingly. KPIs and objectives for the resource will be aligned with the RES Head/WCM lead annual objectives.
Your responsibilities:
▪ Support the Client with the execution and management of their Strategic Objectives and Initiatives as part of the programme for your territory coverage.
▪ Lead the programme of work and act as the single point of contact for programme delivery, progress, performance, risks and issues for the Client and all stakeholders.
▪ Oversee the drafting of Project Work Orders by your team, under the Client Master Services Agreement, including peer review and approval prior to submission to the Client.
▪ Manage the Client procurement function to secure Purchase Orders and manage fee profiles, invoicing and profitability within the T&T business management system.
▪ Manage the project delivery teams’ compliance with the Clients Standard Operating Procedures within the programme, including Project Delivery Governance, Milestone & Schedule Management, Cost Management, Scope Change Management, Risk & Issue Management, Incident Escalation & Reporting, Health & Safety Management, People Management & Sustainability.
▪ Be accountable to ensure accurate inputting of actual and forecast data into the Clients data management system, by the project delivery team, in line with the monthly and quarterly review process.
▪ Be responsible for undertaking project Stage Gate reviews with the project delivery team and providing / obtaining the necessary approvals.
▪ Manage the schedule of constituent projects within the Programme, as well as the pipeline over the 5 years outlook, collaborating with and proactively managing stakeholders within the relevant business functions.
▪ Strategically plan procurement within the programme to drive competitiveness and transparency, ensuring coordination between PgMO, Workplace and Retail Programme Leads and the Country Programme Director, to maximize optimisation and volume / schedule driven opportunities.
▪ Strategically manage Construction Delivery Partners (CDP) and the relationships within the Programme, resolving underperformance, leading value-add initiatives and acting as a point of escalation for the project management delivery team. Escalate to the Regional Programme Director, with proposed solutions when unable to resolve directly.
▪ Work with the Regional Programme Director to embed Value Engineering initiatives into the Programme to maximize benefits to the Client, share best practice with the project management delivery team and actively contribute change recommendations to improve process across the programme, including to the Workplace & retail Programme Leads where beneficial.
▪ Support the Cost Commercial team and PgMO in creating robust financial and non-financial baselines and ongoing management of actual performance for benchmarking by property and project types / standards.
▪ Lead the implementation of the Country Sustainability Plan into the Programme including the integration of targets and initiatives into the design, procurement and delivery process, to deliver on the Clients carbon Net Zero goals. Monitor track and report on sustainability plan progress within the Programme.
▪ Be responsible for the T&T Performance Management reporting within the Programme including monthly and quarterly KPI self-scoring of the Project Management Delivery Team and Relationship Value Management. Manage implementation of any corrective measures to drive improvement.
▪ Manage Supplier and CDP performance KPI scoring for the Programme and work with the IPMO team in supporting the Clients procurement function with any improvement plans.
▪ Monitor and actively manage the CDP compliance with Health & Safety risk management policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), incident investigation, reporting and closeout, reporting any common or recurring risks that are likely to impact the overall programme, to the Client.
▪ Manage the resource profiling, utilization and forecasting for the Programme in line with the project pipeline to ensure the Project Management Team is provided with optimal capability to deliver the projects.
▪ Be responsible for Programme stakeholder engagement, identifying and managing key stakeholders (internal and external), positioning Project Management Delivery to ensure successful delivery of the Programme.
▪ Develop long term business relationships with Client(s) and the wider construction industry, based on integrity, trust, ethics, and delivering successful outcomes.
▪ Ensure that lessons learnt, benchmark data, and knowledge sharing is generated from the Programme and fed into other Programmes and the IPMO, including the Clients Workplace Delivery Team.
▪ Build and promote a sense of community within the Team that includes social activity, recognition, encouragement and support, in order to make the Programme a great place to work.
What will you need
▪ Construction related degree (e.g. Project Management, Construction Management, Design, Engineering, etc) or equivalent;
▪ Professional accreditations and associations such as PMI, MSP, HKIS, RICS, CIOB, etc (preferred);
▪ A minimum of 10 years’ experience of construction, project management and programme management related experience;
▪ Have worked on building projects / programmes, including mechanical plant & equipment, BMS, security systems, fire services, plumbing & drainage & electrical installations and replacement works from their vision and blueprint to successful completion and realisation of benefits.
▪ Have strong fitting out and renovation project management experience including a good understanding of the required statutory submittal and approvals process.
▪ Have worked on behalf of and represented international clients (preferably financial institutions).
▪ Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English.
▪ Track record working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines, working proactively and collaboratively as part of a team.
▪ Competent using Microsoft suite of software including Project, Office, SharePoint, Teams, etc.

▪ The role is a dedicated seconded SPOC within country reporting to the Real Estate Services (RES) Head responsible (and working in partnership with the country Workspace & Construction Management (WCM lead) for all project and program management services within the country.
▪ The role acts as the interface between the RES /WCM Country Lead and MDP project delivery teams and provides professional project management, cost management, strategy and technical consultancy advice to RES.
▪ The role is the point of contact for the businesses within the country and is responsible for the identification, development and regular updating of the 5-year capital program for the country.
▪ This role will require you to acquaint yourself with the Clients current Project and Programme level Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
