job responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers, Sales & Marketing to develop new products for markets identified by the business units.
- Develop expertise in appropriate material technology, as necessary to plan, execute and evaluate laboratory and machine-based trial programs, using the Design of Experiments methodology
- Lead InnoHVision stage gating process and appropriate DFEMA tools for development projects.
- Work with operation and purchase team on Margin Improvement Initiatives (MIPs)
- Benchmark competitor grades and technologies.
- Build knowledge of company’s process, products, application and raw materials.
- Patent inventions.
requirements:
- MS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science plus 3 years working experience OR PhD, resin background is preferred.
- Strong innovation capability.
- Strong leadership, team spirit and cross-functional communication skills.
- Strong project management in product or process development programs.
- Six Sigma Green Belt knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of how to run patent and literature research.
