Description:
- As the scrum master, you will be responsible for leading teams and executing agile development sprints and App releases that deliver customer and business value with speed and quality.
- You will oversee and champion Scrum events and artifacts, report on and monitor work progress, identify potential risks and dependencies, remove impediments, lead the team to continuously improve and help scale best practices.
- The ideal candidate has extensive experience acting as Scrum Master for large teams (based out of different locations and time-zone) with digital product deliveries.
Requirements:
- 8+ years’ experience in applying Agile and Scrum principles within teams and/or organizations and using agile metrics to analyze and improve sprint planning.
- Leadership experience as Scrum Master on an Agile Release Train that runs daily scrums, collaborates on requirement documentation, and unblocks barriers to keep the team moving.
- Coaches and collaborates with cross-functional teams, Product Owners, Designers, Developers, etc. to foster decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Experience working within agile framework or method (i.e. SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and applying techniques such as story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection etc. and familiar with scrum tools such as Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence).
- Ability to align change management strategies with product development/deployments.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques.
- Ability to understand and represent both the business and technology.
- Thrives in a highly collaborative, matrixed, complex, fast paced environment.
- Verbal and written bilingual communication skills. Language Proficiency: English/Mandarin.
- Preferred qualification of Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or PMI’s Agile Certified Professional (ACP).
