Responsibilities:
- The lead scientist is responsible for designing, developing, and testing products and systems to meet specific requirements.
- This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and improve products, ensuring they are functional, reliable, and efficient.
- The lead scientist will also contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Situated in Yiyuan 3-4 days a week. Fluent in oral English.
- Masters Degree PhD preferred In Material Science preferably ceramic/inorganic fibre.
- 5-10 Years Experience Delivering New Products From Concept To Commercialization.
- Effective Project Leader, Delivering Solutions On Tight Timescales.
- Strong Communication Skills; In Both English And Chinese.
- Ability To Influence, Working With The Organization To Meet Customer Targets.
- Experienced Working With Stage Gate Processes, Working With Quality Systems To Ensure Effective Development of New Products.
- Ability To Travel 20-40% National.
- Experience In A Manufacturing Environment; Scaling New Processes, Installing And
- Basic Knowledge of Patent Processes; Ability To Interpret Intellectual Property And, Working With Outside Council, Secure Patents With New Inventions.
- Experienced In Ceramic/inorganic/glass fibre production would be a benefit.
