1. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities for curtain wall materials across the regional market.
2. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, developers, and facade consultants.
3. Promote technical product solutions to ensure company materials are specified in major commercial and residential construction projects.
4. Lead the full sales cycle from initial lead generation and technical presentations to contract negotiation.
5. Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, project pipelines, and competitor movements in the building envelope sector.
6. Provide regular reports on business development activities, project status, and market feedback to senior management.
7. Coordinate with internal technical and manufacturing teams to ensure client specifications and project deadlines are met.
8. Represent the brand at industry exhibitions, seminars, and networking events to enhance market presence.
skills and experience required.
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2. Proven track record in business development or technical sales within the building materials industry, specifically related to curtain walls or facades.
3. Professional fluency in both spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a global corporate environment.
4. Strong network of existing contacts within the architectural, design, and construction communities in China.
5. Ability to work independently as an individual contributor with a high degree of self-motivation and accountability.
6. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to influence key decision-makers.
7. Sound technical understanding of building systems, architectural glass, or facade engineering.
