About the Team.
You will be joining a dynamic team as the key liaison between our trade operations and freight partners, focusing on managing commercial freight procurement and operational problem-solving for global shipments originating in China. This role offers significant exposure to international logistics and trade, providing a clear path for career advancement within a company that is actively expanding its global reach.
About the Job.
- Negotiate freight rates and manage relationships with major freight forwarders and shipping lines.、
- Track and analyze market trends in container freight and propose optimization strategies.
- Resolve operational issues such as delays, rollovers, damages, documentation errors, and cargo loss.
- Collaborate with global sales and trading teams to ensure smooth logistics and delivery.
- Evaluate supplier performance and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
Skills and Experience Required.
- 5-10 years in freight forwarding, carrier, or logistics procurement roles.
- Experience with containerized cargo (isotanks, flexibags, drums, IBCs) is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping lines and freight rate negotiation practices.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-cultural skills.
- Hands-on experience with exports from China to the USA, Latin America, Europe, and Africa
