Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-year e-commerce strategy for China that aligns with global business objectives, focusing on market share growth, profitability, and brand building.
- Platform Management: Oversee all aspects of our flagship stores on major e-commerce platforms (Tmall, JD.com, etc.), including assortment strategy, content, merchandising, and store operations to ensure a best-in-class consumer experience.
- Social & Emerging Commerce: Innovate and lead our strategy for social and live-streaming commerce on platforms such as Douyin and Xiaohongshu, integrating content with commerce to drive engagement and conversion.
- Financial Acumen: Take full ownership of the e-commerce channel P&L. Develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and deliver on key financial targets, including net sales and profitability.
- Performance Marketing: Lead the digital marketing strategy across all e-channels, focusing on traffic generation, customer acquisition, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and maximizing return on investment (ROI) from SEM, display, social media, and affiliate marketing.
- Data-Driven Insights: Champion a data-centric culture. Utilize analytics to monitor performance, understand consumer behavior, and identify key market trends and opportunities for growth.
- Team Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing e-commerce team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in close partnership with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Global teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated omnichannel strategy that delivers a consistent brand message and customer experience.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is highly advantageous.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in e-commerce, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position managing e-commerce for a reputable consumer goods or lifestyle brand in China.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful e-commerce strategies that have delivered substantial and profitable growth.
- In-depth, hands-on experience and a strong network within the major Chinese e-commerce platforms, including Tmall, JD.com, Douyin, and Xiaohongshu.
- Demonstrated experience in managing the full P&L for an e-commerce business.
- Expertise in performance marketing, digital media, CRM, and data analytics within the Chinese digital ecosystem.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English is essential.
