Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ecommerce Manager to lead our Tmall and Douyin operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Chinese ecommerce landscape, with a proven track record of driving sales and growth on Tmall. Experience with Douyin is highly preferred. This role will be pivotal in expanding the brand's online presence and maximizing our sales potential in the Chinese market.
Responsibilities:
- Tmall & Douyin Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce strategies for the brand on Tmall and Douyin, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Manage all aspects of Tmall store operations, including product listings, merchandising, promotions, customer service, and store design.
- Drive sales growth and achieve sales targets on Tmall through effective marketing campaigns, promotions, and optimization strategies.
- Develop and implement strategies to leverage Douyin for brand building, product promotion, and sales conversion.
- Sales and Performance Management:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) on Tmall and Douyin, such as sales, traffic, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Provide regular reports and insights on performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Manage and optimize marketing budgets to maximize ROI and achieve sales goals.
- Implement strategies to improve store ranking, visibility, and customer engagement on Tmall.
- Marketing and Promotion:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions on Tmall and Douyin, including but not limited to flash sales, live streaming, KOL/KOC collaborations, and advertising.
- Develop engaging content and optimize product listings to drive traffic and increase conversion rates.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all online and offline channels.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Tmall and Douyin ecommerce.
- Relationship Management:
- Manage relationships with Tmall and Douyin platform representatives, third-party agencies, and other key stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and optimize partnerships to maximize business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, logistics, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Ecommerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in ecommerce, with a strong focus on the cosmetics industry.
- Solid sales experience in Tmall is a must, with a proven track record of driving significant sales growth and achieving targets.
- Experience with Douyin ecommerce operations, including live streaming, short video marketing, and KOL/KOC collaborations, is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the Tmall and Douyin platforms, including their algorithms, marketing tools, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
