- Business Development: Actively communicate with potential clients via email, phone, and other tools to identify opportunities and develop new customers, specifically focusing on local controlled business across Sea, Air, Rail, and Road freight.
Client Management: Conduct regular client visits to build, maintain, and manage strong business relationships while identifying opportunities for further business development.
Solution Selling: Analyze customer needs to provide high-quality logistics and supply chain solutions, issue quotations, and track the sales process through to completion.
Commercial Negotiation: Lead negotiations with customers to secure profitable business deals and ensure margins are met.
Strategy & Reporting: Set personal yearly sales targets in discussion with management and submit weekly/monthly sales call and visit reports to track progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Trade Lane Managers to support trade lane development and collaborate with internal and overseas teams to resolve client issues and ensure timely payment collection.
CRM Management: Ensure all meeting minutes and customer data are accurately entered and maintained in the company CRM system.
skills and experience required.
Industry Experience: Proven track record in sales within the Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry, with specific knowledge of Import/Export markets.
Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Sea, Air, Rail, and Road logistics products.
- Sales Hunter Mentality: Demonstrated ability to develop new business and achieve sales targets.
- Communication: Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact with clients, internal departments, and overseas teams.
Financial Discipline: Ability to manage profitability (Gross Profit focus) and handle payment collection duties.
Performance Driven: Motivated by a transparent commission structure based on Monthly Performance and Gross Profit.
