about the job
Key responsibilities include:
- Assuming full P&L responsibilities for operations in the Greater China region.
- Acting as the primary representative of the company, managing relationships with external bodies and ensuring all operations adhere to local laws and regulations.
- Developing and executing the annual strategic plan for the region, working in close partnership with the CEO to align on short-term objectives and long-term goals.
- Leading comprehensive market analysis, staying ahead of customer requirements, competitor activities, and emerging industry trends such as electrification and connectivity.
- Defining and launching compelling product and service solutions for the market, supported by a robust go-to-market strategy.
- Championing the digital transformation of marketing and sales functions to enhance customer engagement and drive business results.
skills and experience required
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in a senior commercial or sales leadership role.
- Demonstrable experience in managing a full P&L.
- A strong background in the automotive industry is highly preferred.
- Candidates with experience in related sectors such as heavy machinery, aerospace, or advanced mechanical/electrical engineering are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in managing a manufacturing plant or a large-scale production facility will be considered a significant advantage.
