This strategic sales role involves driving the commercial strategy in China, including reshaping, building, and leading a team to achieve significant growth targets with both existing and new clients in a high-potential region.
about the job:
The Sales General Manager for China will be responsible for a business valued at 5 million USD and will directly lead a team of 3 to 5 people, reporting to the local Managing Director. This role is the face of the group's sales operations in China, requiring extensive interaction with clients and the development of lasting relationships with major clients and distributors. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the sales and marketing team.
- Developing and implementing go-to-market strategies and forecasts.
- Overseeing specification at End Users & Engineering for the KIMO Line.
- Developing VAR’s/Specialist Distributors for Instruments for the KIMO Line.
- Penetrating and developing HVACR Instruments & Pumps Distributors for the Sauermann line.
- Managing OEM Sales, with support from dedicated teams at manufacturing facilities.
- Continuously monitoring market trends and client needs to adapt and improve the group's value proposition.
- Coordinating customer feedback to drive new projects.
- Establishing and analyzing commercial reporting to track KPIs.
- Managing sales forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range commercial priorities.
- Leading monthly business performance reviews.
- Ensuring the application of sales standard processes, including pipeline development, GTM business planning, and pricing strategy execution.

- 10 years of experience with a proven track record in B2B direct and distribution sales.
- 5 years of sales team leadership experience with ownership of sales forecast and annual budget.
- Experience with technical products for industrial applications; IQA and HVACR experience is a plus.
- Native Chinese speaker with English language proficiency.
- Based in Shanghai.
