Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Visual Merchandising Manager to oversee regional VM operations. This role is responsible for the entire VM workflow: from plan brand guidelines into localized action plans, to ensuring flawless execution at the store level. A strong aesthetic sense is essential, along with the technical ability to develop customized VM tools and props that enhance the premium brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
Guideline Planning & Localization: Translate seasonal global directions into actionable regional VM guidelines. Create comprehensive layout plans and display instructions that resonate with the local market while maintaining brand DNA.
End-to-End Execution: Lead the rollout of window displays, in-store merchandising, and seasonal refreshes. Manage the full workflow from initial concept and sourcing to final on-site installation and photo reporting.
VM Tool Creation & Innovation: Design and develop creative VM tools, props, and fixtures. You will be responsible for the "Creation" phase—briefing vendors, selecting materials, and overseeing the prototyping of tools that improve display efficiency and visual impact.
Regional Compliance & Training: Conduct regular store visits to audit VM standards. Provide hands-on training and coaching to store teams to ensure they understand the "business logic" behind the visual layouts.
Vendor & Budget Management: Manage relationships with production vendors to ensure high-quality output and timely delivery within the assigned budget.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably within the premium fashion, sports-lifestyle, or luxury sectors.
Technical Skillset: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and 3D modeling tools (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, or AutoCAD) for tool creation and floor planning.
Aesthetic Vision: A sophisticated eye for color, composition, and storytelling. Ability to balance artistic creativity with commercial needs.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines, moving seamlessly from high-level planning to hands-on store execution.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
Education Background: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related creative field.
