We are a high-performance operations team dedicated to maintaining the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure. As we continue to scale our operations in the China region, we are looking for a collaborative expert who can act as a technical bridge, translating complex security requirements into actionable, automated solutions. In this role, you will work closely with our existing operations staff and communicate effectively with international stakeholders to ensure our cloud ecosystem remains secure and resilient.
about the job.
- In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our cloud security architecture, specifically focused on our Alibaba Cloud infrastructure in China.
- Your primary mandate is to build a robust and high-performance cloud environment by strictly aligning our operational practices with the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
- You will own the full security lifecycle—from proactive threat hunting and real-time monitoring to vulnerability management.
- You will be responsible for defining and enforcing cloud security baselines, utilizing automation to ensure continuous compliance across all cloud resources (ECS, RDS, and network configurations).
- Beyond security, you will collaborate with the team to troubleshoot technical issues and drive ongoing improvements to enhance our system's resilience against evolving threats.
skills and experience required.
- Alibaba Cloud Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing and securing Alibaba Cloud infrastructure. Relevant Alibaba Cloud certifications are highly preferred.
- Security & Compliance: Deep understanding of network security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and encryption standards. Proven experience or deep research in implementing the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) is highly desirable.
- DevOps & Automation: Mastery of DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC, GitOps) and proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible. You must also have hands-on experience with container security (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing). You must be able to clearly articulate complex security technical concepts to international stakeholders.
- Professionalism: A strong sense of responsibility and sharp attention to detail, with proven experience working effectively in fast-paced environments.
