- Own the product lifecycle for our food packaging solutions, from ideation to launch and beyond.
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and customer needs within the food industry.
- Define product requirements, specifications, and roadmaps based on market insights and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful product development and commercialization.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional activities.
- Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in food packaging.
- Be a subject matter expert on food packaging, advising internal teams and external customers.
skills and experience required.
- 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the packaging industry, with a strong focus on food packaging.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in a B2B environment.
- Deep understanding of the food industry's unique packaging requirements, challenges, and trends.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate market needs into viable product solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) is highly preferred given the plant location in Suzhou.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
