- Handle assigned accounts and be the primary point of contact in China under Managing supervision.
- Provide account servicing, develop and maintain good business relationships with potential and existing customers.
- Execute respective business plans for assigned accounts to ensure the achievement of company goals.
- Develop new business opportunities, be responsible for outlet development and improvement of POS and activation of sales at customer level.
- Work closely to ensure marketing support and promoters are driving the business toward business goals.
- Facilitate and coordinate order taking from local company customers/distributors.
- Meet and develop a strong working partnership with distributor sales management and representatives as well as key on and off-premises account owners, managers, and staff.
- Educate, motivate, program, and manage distributors. Plan and participate in regular distributor training activities including presenting at sales meetings, riding with distributor sales personnel, and distributing new sales material to sales staff.
- Communicate distributor incentive programs, pricing initiatives and discount programming.
- Set up and conduct in-store or in-bar/restaurant brand and beer trainings plus associated events (consumer samplings, bar spends, promotions, tastings, gastronomy, etc.).
- Identify targeted events and fairs for participation. Set up and execute all necessary and required functions.
skills and experience required.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Administration or similar) is required.
- Specific Expertise (Valuable): Chinese Market Imported Beer knowledge and Chinese Local Beer Industry knowledge are valuable.
- Languages: English can be used as working language
- Work Experience Requirements: at least 3 years of sales support, sales rep, or supplier/distributor experience, preferably in the beer/wine/spirits/cider industry.
