[Introduction]
As a Capital Markets Trainee / Junior Associate within our elite domestic law firm's Hong Kong practice, you will work alongside seasoned corporate lawyers to support high-profile Hong Kong IPOs (HK side) and cross-border listings, gaining comprehensive, hands-on deal execution experience from day one.
[Responsibilities]
-Drafting & Documentation: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading key transaction documents, including sections of the prospectus, verification notes, corporate resolutions, and standard HKEX application forms.
-Due Diligence Support: Support the execution of legal due diligence on listing applicants, organize data rooms, conduct corporate searches, and compile background research materials.
-Regulatory Checklists & Filings: Assist in preparing compliance checklists and organizing filing materials required by the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) and the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
-Transaction Coordination: Maintain transaction files, manage logistics for drafting meetings, and coordinate seamlessly with clients, underwriters, and other professional parties to ensure efficient deal flow.
[Qualifications]
-Education: LL.B., double degree, or J.D. from a top-tier domestic or overseas law school with an outstanding academic record. PCLL candidate or graduate is a strong plus.
-Experience: Entry level (0 to 1 year of experience). Prior internship experience directly in Hong Kong IPO transactions (HK side) with reputable international or top-tier domestic law firms is mandatory.
-Core Competencies: Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin with excellent professional English writing and communication skills; meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
