As the Patent Attorney, you will manage the regional intellectual property portfolio, mitigate IP-related operational risks, and partner with R&D and business teams to secure and commercialize technical innovations.

-IP Protection & Portfolio Management: Partner with regional R&D teams and the core IP department to identify new inventions and manage the end-to-end patent prosecution process.
-Risk & Freedom to Operate: Direct patentability evaluations and Freedom to Operate (FTO) analyses within the designated area to mitigate operational and legal risks.
-Dispute Management & Enforcement: Support business divisions in detecting IP infringements, provide actionable counsel, and coordinate enforcement strategies with external legal counsel.
-Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyze competitors' IP landscapes, delivering strategic insights to business leadership to maintain market advantages.
-Contractual & Transactional Support: Review, draft, and negotiate IP-related agreements, including NDAs, JDAs, licensing, patent assignments, and co-ownership contracts.
-IP Culture & Training: Foster an IP-aware culture across the organization by designing and delivering tailored training programs for engineering and business units.
[Qualifications]
-Education: Advanced degree or solid technical foundation in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a relevant engineering/scientific discipline.
-Professional Credentials: Fully qualified to practice within the local jurisdiction, including passing the national patent bar examination.
-Experience: Proven experience in the complete lifecycle of IP management (acquisition, commercialization, and litigation) gained within a corporate in-house IP department or a reputable specialized IP law firm.
-Global Exposure & Language: Prior international education or multicultural work experience is highly preferred. Professional fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional foreign languages is a plus.
-Core Competencies: Outstanding communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively within global cross-border teams.
