Position:Junior Legal Counsel
How You Contribute:
- Draft and review various contracts related to leasing, retail marketing and commercial activities.
- Provide legal support and advice on internal stakeholders to support the growth and management of the business.
- Apply independent legal judgment to key initiatives, provide analysis to senior lawyers and business stakeholders, and escalate critical issues as needed.
- Conduct internal legal training in collaboration with senior lawyers.
- Handle disputes with internal/external lawyers.
- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments relevant to the supported business units.
- Undertake project-based work as per request.
Role Qualifications:
- Law degree from a reputable law school and bar equivalent qualification. Overseas education background is preferred.
- 4-6 years’ post-qualification experience. Previous experience of working in FMCG, retail or sports industry is preferred.
- Ability to identify, analyze risks and complex issues and devise creative strategies for resolution.
- A quick and independent learner, business agility.
- Good English communication skill in both written and spoken.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to professionalism.
