About the Role:
You will play a crucial role in supporting our cross-border transactions, commercial contract negotiations, and compliance initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to grow your legal career in one of the most exciting and cutting-edge sectors: AI Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of bilingual commercial agreements, including Cloud Service Agreements, GPU Leasing Agreements, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), NDAs, and Vendor Agreements.
- Cross-Border Transactions: Support the legal team in structuring and executing cross-border transactions, managing overseas entity formations, and maintaining corporate governance for international subsidiaries.
- Compliance Support: Assist senior counsel or external advisors in monitoring and mitigating risks related to international trade compliance (e.g., Export Control/EAR), Data Privacy (e.g., GDPR), and Cybersecurity laws.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with the sales, product, and operations teams to provide practical and business-oriented legal advice for day-to-day operations.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research on international technology regulations, AI laws, and cloud computing policies to keep the business ahead of regulatory curves.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) or higher (LL.M. / J.D.) from a top-tier domestic or international university.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE). Experience in a reputable international/domestic law firm (e.g., TMT, Corporate, or Compliance practice) OR as an in-house counsel in a tech, cloud computing, or AI company.
- Language Skills: Exceptional English proficiency is mandatory. Must be highly capable of drafting complex legal documents and conducting business negotiations in both English and Mandarin.
- Professional Qualification: Passed the PRC Bar. Holding an overseas qualification (e.g., US, UK, HK) is a strong plus.
- Industry Interest: Strong interest in AI, hardware infrastructure, and the cloud computing industry.
- Soft Skills: Highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
